Learning Links© is a unique and innovative program that was developed in 2012. It is the result of collaboration among Associated Physical & Occupational Therapists’ physical therapists and occupational therapists and a Canisius College kinesiology professor. It is based on the work of Sarah Rademacher, OTR/L and Dr. Lauren Cavanaugh.

The first motor labs were conducted in the Buffalo public school district with remarkably positive results. The progress of the participants in the program was so striking and pervasive, that the classroom teachers enthusiastically requested that the program return the next year.

Since the first year, the program has been conducted in many more schools with continued successful outcomes and enthusiastic support of teachers, administrators, and the students themselves.

Promoting neurological maturation and integration, which research shows is necessary for students to be successful learners
